Tye attended Apache Public Schools. He loved soccer, baseball, and football. He also attended Tecumseh High School where he was on the track team and did some cheerleading. He was also homeschooled and learned very good writing skills and loved to read. This past year, he found a kindred spirit with Glenn & Susan Freeman of Seattle, WA with whom he could discuss his love of physics, the history of finding longitude with John Harrison and Newton’s laws of motion and how God created the underlying design of the universe. Tye was a member of the Kiowa Tribe in Carnegie, OK. Growing up, he attended Grace Fellowship in Anadardo and Apache First Pentecostal Church in Apache.

Tye was married to Kayla Haas (deceased) of Tecumseh, OK when he was 18. They were the proud parents of 2 boys, Preston and Ethan.

Tye loved the outdoors and body building. He loved to fish and hike, climb trees, be in the mountains, and just run. In the last 5 years he found a love for cooking, making charcuterie boards and fancy foods. He wanted to be a chef. He also was self-taught in being an artist. He learned about how latitude and longitude affected perspective in art and had just begun to learn to draw people.

As we grieve his loss, we also celebrate his life and the many memories we have of him.
