Terrence P. Dorr, 59, died October 22, 2017, in Seattle, Washington, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia. Terry was born in Lebanon, N.H. in 1958. He was a graduate of Mascoma High School and the University of Washington. A mechanical engineer who worked for the aerospace industry, he had made his home in Seattle since 1981.
Terry loved woodworking and the outdoors. In his free time he was either in his shop or hiking, camping, or surfing. He is survived by two sisters, Pat Ward of Powderly, Kentucky, and Linda Dorr of Batavia, Illinois, as well as countless friends in Seattle and the Upper Valley. His quiet demeanor hid a wicked sense of humor, and those who loved him already miss his friendly and compassionate nature.
His family would like to thank the University of Washington Medical Center for their exquisite care of our brother.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held in Seattle at a later date.
