Dawn was an amazing lady. She always smiled and she made laugh. She shared all the goodies her cousin made for her with me. She shared how she loved being in drama classes in school. Always said how proud she was of her sons. Dawn always worried about her mom. I miss her everyday and will always remember her. Her smile, love for playing bingo. Love her always. Mary Mireles

I am Dawn’s older cousin so I have memories of her from infancy on. She was a beautiful baby but even more memorable was she was the happiest baby you could imagine and that trait was never lost. Dawn looked for the joy in life and the adventure every day.offered. She was given a cruel unfair disease to live with but she still grabbed opportunity wherever it was. She worked to fulfill her dreams including being a mom. She loved every day with her sons and the fine men they became gave her many bragging stories. Her small family grew when she moved to St Anne’s. Other residents and staff became people to have new adventures with. We all have memories of Dawn’s big smile greeting us and when I need it I hope memories of her courage last my lifetime. Dawn, thank you.

She lived with MS for much of her life, and I admire the resilience it took to do that.. Thank you for the support and condolences. I will always miss her, but I know I will see her again, and this time around walking/running. I love you mom.

I have a picture of Dawn sitting on my desk right now. She has a huge smile on her face and is holding a Mother's day card. I know my brother and I weren't always the easiest kids to raise, but she did a wonderful job. Over the years she gave me love, guidance, and support. Dawn meant the world to me and whenever I could, I tried to make her laugh. Even now, I'm still telling her photo dad jokes and can hear the audible groan she would make - with a smile, of course. I love you and miss you Mom. Rest in Peace.
