Tammy Lee Fitzpatrick was ushered into the presence of the Lord passing away in the morning, on
Monday August 22, 2022, in the arms of her husband of 37 years, John, at the University of Washington
Medical Center, losing her battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Tammy is survived by her husband John, son Jeremy Fitzpatrick, daughter Jessica Gorecki, son Bryan
(Lisa) Fitzpatrick, stepson Brett (Carrie) Fitzpatrick, 8 grandchildren, her parents Keith Harris and Marilyn
Gabriel, and her brother Garon (Susan) Harris.

Tammy was born to Keith and Marilyn Harris on March 14 th , 1960, in Grand Island Nebraska. Her family
moved to Colorado in 1963 and then to Southern California in 1967. While in elementary school,
Tammy was active in softball and dance. She attended Pacifica High School in Garden Grove and was a
Mariner Drill Team member graduating in 1978.

Tammy and John were married at the 18th green of Pebble Beach Golf Course on June 15, 1985. She
enjoyed snow and water skiing, boating, scuba diving, and biking. The family lived in Corona California
until 1995, at which time they purchased and operated Wheeler’s Point Resort Lodge, on Lake of the
Woods, located on the Canadian border in northern Minnesota. Tammy became very well known for
hosting, and singing, at her weekly karaoke show in the ViewPoint Saloon at their resort. Tammy’s
closest friends all still reside in Baudette – Lake of the Woods County. Tammy will be remembered by
many for her big smile and infectious laugh.

Tammy and John sold the resort in 2011 and moved to Gig Harbor Washington. There they purchased
and operated Big Feet Pajama Company – bigfeetpjs.com with their youngest son Bryan, until she passed
at the early age of 62.

Over her last 10 years in Gig Harbor, Tammy enjoyed cooking, gathering with family for birthdays,
holidays, and whenever “her” Seahawks were playing. She looked forward to seeing or speaking with
her grandkids as often as possible. At home you would find her cherished golden retriever Bosco at her
side, if not on her lap. Bosco, “a puppy she bought for John” was without a doubt her dog and he misses
her greatly.

I now do sincerely appreciate this gift she gave me almost 5 years ago. “Thank you, sweetheart; Bosco
helps me get through every day without you.”
