It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Koontz, who died on May 3, 2025, in Seattle at the age of 40.

Born in February 1985 just outside of Boston, Todd grew up surrounded by family, sports, and a love for animals that stayed with him throughout his life. He was the beloved son of Bob and Judy Koontz, and a devoted brother to Matt, Lauren and Rob.

Todd was known for his boundless charisma, quick wit, and magnetic personality. Whether in social gatherings or professional settings, he was often the center of gravity — always ready with a great story, a clever joke, or a thoughtful gesture. He had an incredible ability to turn acquaintances into lasting friendships, and his warmth touched the lives of many.

An avid sports fan and passionate dog lover, Todd found joy in life’s simple pleasures and gave generously of his time, energy, and heart to those around him.

A private memorial service will be held in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
