Obituaries

Dave “Joe” Lee Revia passed on January 18th, 2022 at the age of 72 & 11/12ths. A Marine Vietnam Veteran who earned a purple heart.

Dave was always the life of the party, and he spent his days making friends everywhere he went. He liked to drive a little too fast and listen to his music much too loud. He would be the first to lend a hand to anyone in need without hesitation. Dave liked to keep things simple. Maybe that’s why his friends have rhyming names, Larry, Larry and Gary, who were the best friends he could have ever asked for.

He spent much of his retirement from Boeing, surrounded by friends watching Seahawks games, flying remote control airplanes and shooting the sh*t. Or with his brother Bill restoring old cars and laughing. Always making sure that he enjoyed his time.

There was nothing he enjoyed more than being Papa to his grandkids though. Whether that meant sneaking them soda, cruising in his Ford coupe, yelling EVA to them from across a store or telling them how good they look in glasses. They will always be Papa’s girls.

He is survived by his two daughters and their partners, one niece who was like his daughter, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Plus his brothers, former sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog Nuggs.

He will be missed by all who knew him, aside from a few neighbors. We love you Dad, and we will miss you always.
