Obituaries

Jeffery passed away in Seattle WA. unexpectant and peacefully in his sleep Friday, August 16,2019.  Jeffery was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on February 12, 1964. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kay Lane, Cary, NC, brother, John David Lopez, San Francisco, CA.. Brother-law, Tim Simpson and Uncle Alvin Lopez, Napa, CA.  His father, Stanley J. Lopez preceded Jeff’s passing.

He was raised in an Air Force family and travelled extensively across the country living in several states as well  in Okinawa, Japan.

Jeffery’s professional career began at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA. followed by Brown & Toland, San Francisco, CA, Pacific Medical Center, Seattle, WA. and Swedish Medical Center where he was currently employed. Jeffery went home not feeling well Friday afternoon August 16, 2019 and passed that evening with death still to be determined. Jeffery had a lot of friends and all are shocked by his passing.

Jeffery was a wonderful loving son and man who cherish his mother and brother deeply. He never met a stranger and an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His huge smile radiated life and all he cared for. I will miss his phone calls every Sunday with his cheerful voice saying “Hi Mom just thought that I would check in and to see if you were okay”. Then before he hung up he would say ” Love you Mom, goodbye for now.”

When the tomorrows start without my son, Jeffrey, I have to believe that an angel called his name and he knew he had to leave behind all those he dearly loved.  So when each day begins without Jeffery for every time I think of him, he will be right here in my heart.
