John T. Langlais

John T. Langlais passed away January 20, 2019, age 84. A most loving husband and father, Jack leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Joanne; four children, Lawrence, Maria (Richard), Theresa (John), Lisa (Jon); and 17 grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John Timothy. He attended the U of Minnesota and Colorado State earning a degree in engineering. His life was varied and good. He was a navigator for the USAF, a Boeing AFPRO engineer, a carpenter who built homes, an avid card player, a sports enthusiast, a great hockey player, and a loving grandpa. He was also a generous man who was honored by Sound Generations for nearly 30 years of Volunteer Driving for the elderly. A funeral mass will be held at St. Madeleine Sophie Parish on Tuesday, January 29 at 10am, followed by a military service at Tahoma National Cemetery.
