On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Jonathan Wayne Shawver, 31, left this earth to be with his Savior Jesus Christ and his family that have gone before him.
Jon was a free-spirit. He spent his last years traveling from city to city, working as a chef as he loved to cook and enjoyed seeing new places. He loved the outdoors and nature. He had a childhood dream of becoming a meteorologist. He was an avid dog lover. He loved Nascar racing and watching the Braves play. He had a sweet, compassionate and loving spirit and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Shawver of NC and his cousin, Keith Martin of WV. He is survived by his loving mother Justine Shawver of NC, and his grandfather Keith Shawver of NC. He has 2 brothers, Joshua Dale of NC and Jeffrey Dale of FL. He is also survived by his uncle, Kevin Shawver of NC, and aunt, Kelly Shawver of NC. He also has numerous cousins, aunts and uncles of NC & WV.
Memorial services will be held at South Mountain Community Church (formerly Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ) located at 3321 Baptist Camp Rd Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
