Kasey Spivey Pollard, of Amsterdam, Netherlands, died at her parents’ home in Bellevue, Washington, USA on August 17, 2026. Kasey was born in Atlanta, GA USA on April 9, 1983. She was 43 years of age.

Kasey was the daughter of her loving mother, Karen Spivey Coleman, and of the world. Kasey married Robin Pollard in Montego Bay, Jamaica on April 11, 2011.

She pursued her education and career across five states and two continents. Forged by a diverse education, Kasey:

– Attended preschool in Atlanta, Georgia
– Graduated from Whitesides Elementary School in Layton, Utah
– Graduated from Hazen High School in Renton, Washington
– Attended advanced placement courses at University of Washington, Seattle
– Achieved Baccalaureate and Masters work at Tennessee State University Nashville, Tennessee
– Pursued advanced contemporary dance training and choreography in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Continuing her celebration of existence via her diverse career, Kasey excelled as a:

– Dedicated mother
– English professor
– Luxury brand marketer
– Dance instructor
– Dance/cheer coordinator for multiple collegiate and professional sports teams

Kasey loved animals, camping, concerts, cooking, dance, debate, fashion, fine dining, fitness, movies, music, parties, skiing, social justice, tennis, water sports, wine tasting, and especially travel. In addition to explorations throughout most of the United States and Europe, Kasey embarked upon multiple ocean cruises, including port visits throughout the Caribbean and upon dedicated trips to Canada, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and others.

Kasey is survived by:

– Husband: Robin Pollard – Amsterdam, Netherlands
– Children: Lucian Pollard; Penelope Pollard – Amsterdam, Netherlands
– Parents: Karen Spivey Coleman/Tress (mother); Michael Hipp (surrogate father) – Bellevue, WA
– A host of other cherishing family members and friends across the USA and Europe

A Celebration of Life was held for Kasey in Amsterdam, Netherlands on September 3, 2026. As published under separate announcements, two celebrations will be held for Kasey in the United States: The first, in Bellevue, Washington on October 2, 2026 at 12:00pm; The second, in Eastman, Georgia on October 10, 2026 at 2:30pm.
