Linda Rae (Bower) Cooley, 82, of Seattle, passed away peacefully on September 29th. Linda was intelligent, loving, kind and generous. She built successful careers in the mortgage and legal fields, and volunteered many hours at local soup kitchens, the Greenwood Senior Center and ECHO in Port Townsend. Her greatest joy was her family, especially being a beste (grandmother), she was amazing at providing love, guidance and support.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cooley, parents Raymond and Solveig Bower and beloved dog Lucy. Linda is survived by her daughters, Denise Lee, Ericka Cooley, and Stacey Ross (Greg); grandchildren, Jakob (Sophie), Aidan (Yarelli), Grace (Faye), Oliana, Fletcher, and Carly; great-grandchildren, Cora, Westin, and Ailani; and her brother, Jake Bower (Dee), and nieces Gina and Denise.

Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Kent, WA in November (Date TBD). In lieu of flowers, please volunteer or donate to the Alzheimer’s Society, the American Cancer Society or your favorite cause.
