Obituaries

Louise Mary (Cattapan) Leone January 6, 1939 – May 20, 2019. We are saddened to announce the passing of Louise Leone from her daughter’s family home in Mukilteo, Washington. She was already missed by many, as she privately battled health issues over the last year, and now will be missed forever by all who loved and cared for her. She maintained her strength, sense of humor, and concerns for others over self to the end.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Angelo and Elizabeth Cattapan who preceded her in death. She leaves this world as a beloved Mother, Nonna, Sister, Aunt, cousin and friend to countless many. Louise is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph L. Leone Jr.; her three children and spouses Joseph L. Leone III and Bernadette Leone, Angelique Leone and Ronald Fronheiser, and Richard and Suzanne Leone; her grandchildren Ronnie, Gianna, and Joseph; and her brothers Richard and Peter Cattapan.  Louise maintained a relationship and faith in God, Jesus Christ, throughout her life. The family is comforted to know that she will continue to look over our lives as she now walks with him. In accordance with her wishes, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louise Leone Scholarship for Women in Science and Engineering at Edmonds Community College Foundation (www.edcc.edu/give and note in the comment box “In Memory of Louise Leone”).
