In Loving Memory Ramona Lea Matie Martinez

Ramona Lea Matie Martinez, 65, was born August 8, 1957, and passed away on August 20, 2022. She was born in Seattle, Washington, and lived in Seattle’s Central Area. She was a good mother, sister, daughter, and a great friend to many. 

Ramona Lea graduated from Lincoln High School. She completed the Baking and Candy program at the Center for Career Alternative. She worked Pace Chemicals with her father. She also worked in food service as a baker/cook at various places such as the Seattle District elementary schools, Swedish Hospital, Borracchini’s Bakery, and the Westlake Food Court. 

Ramona Lea was an avid gardener, prolific reader, and a talented dessert and candymaker. Her cooking was enjoyed by her family. Her sewing and drawing projects showed her deep sense of style and flair for fashion. 

She is survived by son, Antione Taylor, and daughter-in-law, Kristina; son, Gregory Jones, Jr.; daughter, LeAnne Martinez-Bible, and her partner, Joel; daughter, Rehea Martinez-Bible; sister, Leila Martinez, and sister, Sheila Martinez, and brother-in-law, Steve; and grandchildren: Aliana, Jaelen, and Malakai. Ramona Lea was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Martinez (Shiri Ram Behari) and mother, Donna Mae Martinez (Behari).

Ramona Lea will be missed by many. W e love you and will miss you always.
