It is with heavy hearts that we announce Our Heavenly Father, called our beloved Roger LeRoy Dufur home on March 15, 2021, while visiting King County, Washington. He passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack. Roger was born March 20, 1975 in Sacramento, California and was a true outdoorsman, living and loving God’s world of nature.

Roger was an activist for social justice and antiracism, writer, and a people person. He had the gift of gab, and could talk to anyone, no matter what path one walked. Roger is survived by his Mother, Dawn Mitchell Parks (Jim), Father, Roger Dufur, His sister whom he Adored, Lisa Goettsch (Jeremy), Niece, Jadyn, Nephew, Dylan, Aunt, Peggy Cochrane, Hot Springs Village, AR, & Uncle, Michael Nunes (Elva) Humble, Texas. Roger had many cousins and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In memory of Roger, please donate to your local food bank, hug your family, and go outside and enjoy the beautiful outdoors surrounding us all. A celebration of life will be announced by the family in the weeks to come.
