Scott A. Gervais, 68 of Gorham, Maine passed away suddenly on September 16th in Seattle, Washington. He was celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary with his wife, enjoying a two-week trip traveling by train up the West Coast from San Diego to Seattle.

Scott loved his family, life, and enjoyed a variety of things, such as camping, fishing, bowling, football, baseball, fires at camp, betting the ponies, traveling, and going to the beach to listen to live music.  He had a love for music and always had it playing at the house.

Scott was a truly kind, loving, and funny man. Whether he was dancing, telling stories, or saying his ever famous “camping sucks” he was having fun and making people laugh. He was fiercely proud of his family and you could see it in the big smile on his face when he was with them or telling stories of them. Scott was blessed with a great family, coworkers, and so many other longtime friends. To say he will be missed is an understatement.

Scott is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elaine (Fitzgerald) Gervais, daughters Erica Gervais & Briana Green, son-in-law Corey Green, his “grand pets” Lulu, Josie, Ava, Kat and Odin, brother Mark Gervais, sister-in-law Zoi Gervais, and several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by Ernald A. “Joe” Gervais and Anita (Girard) Gervais.

Please join us in a celebration of Scotts life that will be held on October 19, 2024 at 390 Main St Gorham Maine from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PSL Strive Services (https://pslstrive.org/donate) this organization was near and dear to Scott and continues to be for his family.
