Tommy Donald “Rancher” Anglea, 84, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Ellensburg, Washington. His life was marked by service, dedication, and deep love for his family.

Born on January 19, 1941, in Yakima, Washington, Tom was the son of John and Helen Anglea. From an early age, he showed a strong work ethic and a passion for aviation—interests that would shape both his career and personal life.

Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force for eight years as an air refueler. His military service took him to France, Korea, Louisiana, and Ohio. The discipline and commitment he developed during these years stayed with him throughout his life

Following his service, Tom began a 32-year career with The Boeing Company. Rising to the role of Contract Administrator, he managed contracts for parts and assemblies from outside suppliers. Known for his leadership and attention to detail, he earned the respect of colleagues across the company until his well-deserved retirement.

Outside of work, Tom enjoyed aviation-related hobbies, especially model building. He also loved RVing and traveling adventures that took him around the world and to 49 U.S. states, creating lasting memories with those he loved.

Family was Tom’s greatest pride. He is survived by his devoted wife, Constance Anglea; daughter, Malissa Anglea; stepchildren Jeff (Lisa) Brazda and Ed Sevold; grandchildren Cason Anglea, Cayli Anglea, and Tanner (Clare) Sevold; and great-granddaughters Lena and Ellie Sevold. He is also survived by his brother Mike Anglea, along with nieces, nephews, and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Anglea, and his parents, John and Helen Anglea.

Those who knew Tom remember him as someone always on the move, never hesitating to lend a hand. His generosity and helpful nature left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service honoring Tom will be held in Ellensburg, Washington. Please join us for his Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Rosewood Community Center, 1101 E Umptanum Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926.

May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and serve as a tribute to a life well-lived.
