Obituaries

In the late 1970s, as a young, relatively inexperienced Air Force judge advocate lawyer, I was assigned to the Boeing Air Force Plant Representative Office. Worked on a lot of complex, big dollar procurement issues between the Air Force and Boeing. Harold was frequently at our negotiating sessions as Boeing's legal representative. He was a brilliant lawyer and eloquent advocate but with a dose of humility. While we disagreed often, it was always a civil disagreement. Some of the big-name Washington DC lawyers I met later could have learned a lot from Harold. Sorry to read that he has passed on. Glad that I was able to meet him.
