John Morgan, 70, of Hansville Washington, died December 31, 2017 from respiratory complications precipitated by a fall. He was surrounded by his wife and children at the University of Washington Medical Center.

John lived most of his life in Southern California and was retired from The California Division of Juvenile Justice, previously known as the California Youth Authority, where he taught some of California’s most serious youth offenders.
